Chainsaw Mill

We are able to provide a Logosol Farmers Mill for hire with operator from £300 per day excluding fuel.

The Logosol Farmers Mill is of Scandinavian design and has its heritage in the building of pine and log cabins.  Unlike the popular Alaskan Mill its not so sensitive to log diameter so works on anything from 6-9″ pine to 2ft oaks.

With the F2 Farmer’s chain sawmill you can cut all sorts of wood, from hard oak to knotty pine. The measurement precision is impressive, and chain sawing gives a smooth surface that is easy to after-treat. The chain removes the sawdust while the timber is being sawn. The boards are clean from sawdust when you have finished sawing.

Specification

• Log diameter: Up to 60 cm (23″), with the possibility of sawing even larger logs
• Log length: The mill is designed to cut logs up to 3.8 m as standard, but the sawmill can be extended to any length.   We transport ours to site ready configured to cut logs up to 2.8 m in length but can extend it to 3.8m.
• Accessibility: The mill weights 52 kg without the saw unit, is 3m length and 0.7m wide.  It should fit into standard gardens etc.
