Solid and well-made of an underrated native wood, exhibiting a particularly attractive grain pattern. Overall, this bowl is beautiful in its simplicity. Highly recommended.

For some fun and as an experiment in Bush Craft I made some charcoal in a paint tin. I was using the oil drum design but in a smaller scale. I started with a paint tin and popped in a couple of copper pipes for vents before filling it with wood.
Next I build an fire and with the paint tin loaded on set it alight.
Once the fire had gone out I let it all cool down (this is important) the paint tin could be opened and the results seen.
